Header was made in PrintShop and Paint. I'm not really an artist, so I was surprised that it actually resembles the idea I'd had in my head!
The picture on the right (of the pretty tree-lined path) was taken at Esterhazy Palace in Hungary this summer. The composer Haydn was employed at that estate for many years. Many of his more famous works were debuted at Esterhazy, including the Farewell Symphony. The prince of Esterhazy, also a musician, was quite pleased with Haydn's work. While many other patrons of that era commissioned certain types of works, Haydn was given a great deal of freedom in his music-writing. As a result, he is credited for his development of new musical forms including the symphony and string quartet.
