26 inches & counting

I've been stuck in a winter wonderland since yesterday afternoon. It started snowing earlier than that but thankfully didn't start sticking until after I'd gotten home from school.

And now, with being stuck inside and lots of extra time to get stuff done, I have absolutely no motivation to do anything productive, such as: writing thank you notes for wedding gifts, unpacking from last week's trip, grading, etc. I figure, however, that I probably won't have school until at least Wednesday, if we make it to school this week at all. Apparently more ice/snow is predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday. I might have the whole week off. While it's nice to not have to go in during dangerous conditions, it does cut into the plans Westley and I have been considering for this summer ...

I'm amazed that the snow HAS NOT STOPPED since it began over 24 hours ago. I believe we still have another 7 hours until the weather channel folks have predicted that the snow will stop.

I left a list of other things to blog about in my last entry ... and I'm sure I'll get to that later on ...
