Perhaps I'm not destined to be a starving musician after all

I'm thrilled (and quite giddy!) because my name has been passed along to influential people at a potential workplace. They haven't even announced that there will be an opening, and they're already on the lookout for my resume! Even better? A former colleague and a person on the inside will both proof my documents before I officially submit them to the workplace. Former colleague believes that this will, at the very least, secure me an interview. Partly because I look darn good on paper and partly because former colleague's recommendation (the workplace wanted only one name!) speaks volumes. Sweet! I might actually get a job after I graduate! :-)
