Feeling a bit sheepish ...

I know February's a short month ... but ... how is it over already?!

We had to make new bulletin boards for our residential floors. For some reason, I was really grooving on the idea of creating a bulletin board with sheep from Ireland. Because it's March, Ireland is my connection to St. Patrick's Day. What about the significance of the sheep? Well ... umm ... when I went to Ireland last summer for a choir tour, we saw MANY sheep. (I loved the ones whose hinds were spray-painted in pastel colors to signify the herd to which they belong!) They were EVERYWHERE! Climbing over the burren, the mountains, in the road, in the fields ... everywhere!

When I went home this weekend, I was overloaded with craft goodies for my bulletin board because we basically have a warehouse of cool and unusual craft materials. My mom, who loves making crafts, sent me back to MySchool with tons of materials: crepe paper, fake "grass" (I guess it's used to line an Easter basket or for use inside a gift bag), cellophane, cotton balls, toothpicks ...

On the upper half of the board, the little white things outlined in the darker green paper are facts about sheep- in Ireland and in general.

^^^ A close-up of the sheep!

The proverbial black sheep ^^^^ (That's what his little card says too)

I tried to zoom in on the little black sheep ... and he ended up looking like he was on fire.
I thought that was a nifty side-effect ...

OK ... enough procrastinating ... must go write that paper for my one of my core subject courses ... and do some more planning for Italia!
